All White Card (Well nearly)

I liked the idea of this card but cutting and embossing the background pieces one at a time was a bit of a pain in the proverbial!

Quilted Christmas Postcards

These were cut from a panel of fabric.  Quilted with stitching and beads (though I did cheat a bit and glued on some of the beads), iron on Vilene, canvas back and a couple of rubber stamps.

All White Cards

I do love all white cards.

Birthday Card

Using die cuts, though some manual scissor work had to be done (almost forgotten how!) and an embossing folder.

Birthday Card for Classic Fiat 500 Enthusiast

aka my hubby.

He recently bought Fifi

and this is the card I made for his 50th birthday.

I scoured the whole world wide web for a Classic Fiat 500 stamp and found one, and only one, in Norwich!  Lol.

Cards for men.

A card for a man who loves making lots of wood shavings in his own workshop
and

A general card for a male birthday.

Why are they so hard to do?  Lol.

Double Quilt

Quilt made using the disappearing nine patch pattern.

9 squares are stitched together to make

This is then cut across both lengthways and widthways through the centre square.

You then have 4 separate squares.  The top left and bottom right are turned 180 degrees and then stitched back together to make

These are then all stitched together until you have the size of quilt you want.

Add two borders, backing and binding and this is the finished product.

Jelly Roll Quilt

A lovely friend gave me a couple of jelly rolls and an ideas book for my birthday.

The pattern is called Sherbet Lemon and this is my first attempt at quilting properly.
