Eclipse Card

Eclipse card for male birthday.

Had a lovely few days away in May where we met up with friends from the other side of the country.

We don't get to see each other very often but since we bought a second hand camper van we
decided we would try and meet up for a few days more often sort of half way as they have a caravan
because they prefer to take their dog with them on holiday.

Anyway, one of the days out we had was to Foxton Locks. It was a glorious day and the place itself
is both beautiful and extremely interesting.

Thought the image would both serve as a great birthday card and a reminder of a fab day!

I added the happy birthday sentiment in 3d Paint and I don't know how but it looks on the wonk to me?!!!!
Or is the whole thing wonky? Lol!

Fathers Day Eclipse Card

This is an image of my husband as a little boy scanned from a very old slide onto the computer. Unfortunately the quality of the image wasn't great but I thought it would make a lovely fathers day eclipse card.

Think it would have worked better with a sharper quality image and better quality photo paper but 80+ year old Dad was very happy with it.

Wedding Card

Made using Tonic Studios Affections die set.

Flowers made using Spellbinders Rose die. Have seen some fabulous roses made from foamiran with this die set so I bought some to try. What a disaster! Lol. I'll have to stick to making mine with card for now.

Sympathy Cards

Three cards using dies and embossing folders though I really do particularly like using the Darice Grass Silhouette folder and the Memory Box resting birds die for sympathy cards.

They are all actually black and white although one does look more cream in the photograph.

Birthday Card using Tattered Lace Floating in the Air Circle Surprise

Also used the Sue Wilson Delicate Daisy.

Have to confess that I'm really not keen on this this card at all. I love the circular die but what are those things supposed to be on the base die? Butterflies? Bees? Rockets? 😕 Decided to cover one up with a flower but that meant it had to be a big flower and it looks rather heavy.

Also, the pearl effect stuff was a bit of a letdown. Perhaps the fact I bought it in nineteen canteen may have something to do with it? And the yellow stamp pad I used is too bright but when I tried to get a lovely mellow yellow from the large craft shop literally 5 minutes from me it turned out that I had more stock than than they did.😶

Oh well, at least the recipient was appreciative.😆😃

Oh and to cap it all I've over cropped the photograph. Lol!!

Mothers Day Card

Using Sue Wilson Buckle Bar, Spellbinders Tag, Fishtail Banners and other odd dies.

Should have been straightforward but the first one went wrong so had to start again and then I somehow ran out of ribbon. Scoured my local area to find a matching piece but no luck. Left it a day to start it again and then found the matching piece of ribbon on the floor! Hallelujah☺☺☺

Hope all you lovely Mums had a wonderful day!

Thank You Eye Chart Card & Birthday Magic Butterfly Card

Thank you card made using this free eye chart maker.

I'd got some new glasses and after having horrendous service at a different opticians a few years back and then having spectacular (sorry, I couldn't help myself) service at this new opticians I wanted to take some biscuits and a card in for the staff to say thank you.

Birthday card is made using Spellbinders Butterfly Magic die. Added some stick pins, ribbon and buttons.

Both kept relatively plain and simple. I'd like to say it's by design but the truth is I was a last minute Lizzie again!
