Another Monogram Birthday Card

Card base from the stash I bought from the charity shop several years ago.

Really love the decorated monograms but was sick of pink so actually had to spend out some money this time to buy this set!

The D does look a little on the huh in the photo but I don't think it was in reality.  I blame my mobile phone camera skills. Lol!

Birthday Card for Gamer

Another PngTree image from another talented artist.

Just perfect for the young man concerned.  Even managed to match the text so that I could insert his name  to match exactly.

I love it when a plan comes together!

Birthday Card and My Cat Luther

I have been spending what seems like days lately trying to connect an old Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer to a very old Windows 7 laptop all in order that I may use one very old card programme that I absolutely loved using and is not valid with Windows 10 and also so that I can print on 300gsm card as modern printers just can't handle it.

For some reason, this particular combination is not a good one and I have asked Google and done everything suggested and was just about to launch the thing when my cat sensing my distress came and did this as if to say, "give it up!"

So, we went and had a cuddle for the rest of the afternoon and that was lovely!

And this is why I wanted to use the old Greeting Card Factory programme.  This is a card for a male which I find really hard to do but thought this was very tasteful and just perfect for the gentleman concerned.  The J and G are two separate free downloads created by a very talented artist available from PngTree  which I then have to convert into a Jpeg to insert into Microsoft Word and the text is created in a text box.

I find this system soooooooooooo complicated.  Maybe it's just me but I find I insert one picture (ie the letter J) and then the next picture.  Then comes the text box and it all goes haywire!  And it was all so simple in the old days.................................... lol!

Get Well Card

We knew one of our neighbours had been suffering from a bad back when lo and behold, first thing christmas morning an ambulance turns up.

Unfortunately, she had to be taken into hospital to get the pain under control  and not being sure what the outcome was and with the current situation, I made a card using an image so that I could just push it through the letterbox with an offer of dog walking, shopping or anything else whilst her husband would be at work.

Inserted the text and matted onto green green card.

Simple and super quick!
